Ross Johnston Also known as 3kShort Ross Johnston has worked in the Australian music industry as a producer, composer, musician, musical director, manager and performer. He has worked extensively in the advertising industry as a producer and composer of music and jingles for campaigns on television, radio, the internet and cinema. As well as composing scores for film and television, Ross has scored for theatre, dance, acrobatic performance and fashion shows. In 2003 Ross won an IF award for composing and producing the music for the motion picture Getting Square. Ross has co-produced and co-composed one platinum and two gold records for the band Machine Gun Fellatio. He was a founding member and performed in the band for eight years. He continues to perform live around Australia in touring techno-swamp-blues-a-billy duet White Knuckle Fever as well as a musician for theatre and cabaret. Presently Ross is based in Kings Cross Sydney where he works in his own studio on freelance projects through his company threekShow.
